Straight At Ya...
STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON
STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON  -In theaters near you on Friday,  starring O'Shea Jackson Jr., Corey Hawkins and Jason Mitchell as Ice Cube, Dr. Dre and Eazy-E, Straight Outta Compton is directed by F. Gary Gray (Friday, Set It Off, The Italian Job).  The drama is produced by original N.W.A. members Ice Cube and Dr. Dre, who are joined by fellow producers Matt Alvarez and Tomica Woods-Wright.  Will Packer serves as executive producer of the film alongside Gray.

It's the story you think you know. Find out the real deal!
In the mid-1980s, the streets of Compton, California, were some of the most dangerous in the country.  When five young men translated their experiences growing up into brutally honest music that rebelled against abusive authority, they gave an explosive voice to a silenced generation.

Taking us back to where it all began, Straight Outta Compton tells the true story of how these cultural rebels-armed only with their lyrics, swagger, bravado and raw talent-stood up to the authorities that meant to keep them down and formed the world's most dangerous group, N.W.A.  And as they spoke the truth that no one had before and exposed life in the hood, their voice ignited a social revolution that is still reverberating today.

Following the meteoric rise and fall of N.W.A., Straight Outta Compton is an astonishing story of how these youngsters revolutionized music and pop culture forever the moment they told the world the truth about life in the hood and ignited a cultural war.

NFL Hall of Fame 2015 Inductees Before the Gold Jacket

The American Century Celebrity Golf Tournament at Lake Tahoe was the scene when LaHitz Media's Jacquie Taliaferro talked numbers with and Heisman Trophy winner Tim Brown, who spent most of his career with  the Raiders and a stint with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Jerome Bettis of the Pittsburgh Steelers, the sixth leading rusher in NFL history, before they were adorned with their NFL gold blazers among the class of 2015 NFL Hall of Fame.  Brown and Bettis have both shared the number 6 back in the day; Brown in high school and Bettis at Notre Dame.  Both Brown and Bettis attended the University of Notre Dame.
Tim Brown of Raider Nation celebrates August 8 in Canton, Ohio being enshrined among the eight NFL Hall of Famers Class of 2015.

Jerome Bettis honored among the NFL Hall of Famers for 2015.

Cornelius Bennett, who played for the Bills, the Falcons and the Colts, could join the ranks in the future as he stands among NFL Hall of Fame Nominees as he was among the list of 103 possible inductees added in 2014.  Tradition calls for up to eight inductees to be enshrined annually.
